A Dream Come True ……
The year 1995, paved the way for a young and persevering Sri Lankan, whose childhood dream and interest was in automobiles, to successfully team-up with his two brothers in Ibaraki – Ken, Japan.
Since then, having gained half a decade of practical experience in all aspects of the automobile trade and industry, went ahead in setting-up his flagship company, Euronippon International (Pvt) Ltd., in the year 2000 in Japan, presently the nerve center of the Group.
This young enthusiastic entrepreneur, also set foot in the year 2000, to the Isle of Serendipity, Sri Lanka, his motherland, to set-up New Euronippon International (Pvt) Ltd., and subsequently, expanded its operations to cater to the needs of Heavy Plant & Machinery clientele with the floating of Euronippon Machinery Sales (Pvt) Ltd., in the year 2007, with its base located on a sublime stretch closer to the Wadduwa costal line in the southern region of Sri Lanka, where the Corporate Office of the Group is presently located.
Ever since, the success story of the Group is been continuously written, thus, growth has been a classic part of the Organization after the joining of hands of his gracious lady during this period.
On the 29th day of November, 2005, a branch office was registered in the United Kingdom and at present owns a fully fledged Plant & Machinery Yard at Haddenham Business Park, Cambridgeshire catering to the needs of Heavy Plant and Machinery such as JCB Earth Moving Machinery, Prime Movers, Defenders and all other types of European Auto Spare Parts and Equipment.
Subsequently, during the year 2006, the Group also stretched its wings in Sri Lanka by the addition of a further Strategic Business Unit in Dambulla, Euronippon International Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd., in the Central Province, situated 147 km away from the city of Colombo, which was designated as a World Heritage Site in the year 1991.
During the year 2008, the continuous expansion programme of the Group saw the setting-up of three Business Units in strategic locations of Sri Lanka, namely Matara, situated in the southern coast, 160 km away from the city of Colombo, Welisara, in close proximity to Colombo and a unit which caters to the requirements of performance parts segment in the vicinity of the corporate office in Wadduwa.
Thus, the success story of Euronippon Group of Companies continues uninterrupted …..
